If you’re looking for ideal moving weather then spring is the ideal time of year to move to Charlotte. Moving in the spring can also save you money by beating moving season, which normally occurs June-August.

How long will it take to move from NoDa to South End?

The amount of time to move from NoDa to South End varies depending on how much stuff you have to pack up and move. Once the truck is packed and ready to go, it should take 15-20 minutes to travel from NoDa to South End.

 What will movers not move?

At Hornet Moving we can move almost everything. However, we won’t move plants due to state regulations. Items over 500 lbs, propane tanks, or loose materials will not be transported by Hornet either.

Yes! We offer packing services to help make your move quick and hassle-free. We can pack up all your belongings or just select items.

How much does it cost to hire a professional mover?

Our starting rate is $170 per hour with a two-hour minimum Monday-Thursday and $180 per hour with a three-hour minimum Friday-Sunday. If needed, we can provide an extra mover for an added $50 per hour. We don’t charge for travel fees and your time starts and stops at your home or apartment.
